Its great that we have our own classroom then having the home-room system.
I am aware that teachers are busy during this period but it would be good if you'd take note that teachers should assign to us things that are worth speding our time to do on and not do things that waste that we think we just do for the marks. Example projects that include us to do things that are what primary school do. These are really a waste of time i would appreaciate if we could be assign things that are worth spending our time on. Thanks

Why are our school hours so long? I think its too long that even our concentration level goes down as the day goes by and we cant even concentrate anymore..
1. First of all, Mr Sekaran has not resigned. He has gone for a course.Sometimes, teachers have to go for long courses to learn to become beeter teachers and managers so that students can benefit and the teachers gets a better understanding of his/her job.
2.I will look into the blk 55 coffee shop selling cigarettes and inform the relevant authorities
3.The school tries to provide a holistic education to all students and this means an equal emphasis on CCAs and study.We want our students to be well rounded.

Dear Mr Satwant, Yes we do need to study much more than elite schools.I agree with that, but as you know students in our school cant have much concentration not to even add on that our latest day requires us to stay in school for almost 12 hours. Its crazy, and when the day goes by,we cant get anything into our head that equals to wasting time listening to the teacher. It really should be a fruitful thing for us as long as we're in school right?

I am married with 2 daughters.I went to Balestier Mixed Primary Scool followed by Victoria School and Nanyang JC.I was an Education Instructor in the Army and went to the College of PE for my Dip in Physical Education.I have been teaching since 1989 June, First in Henderson Secondary and then in Bukit Merah Secondary School. In 1995, I left for England, Loughborough to further my studies in PE and Sports Science. I graduated in 1997 with a second upper Honours degree.
I love to interact with students and helping them become better people. People who respect themselves and also respect others.
