i think the school should also include add math and poa in the monday and tuesday extra lesson for the sec 4class.
if u could,can u separates those who want to study a class and those who don't want to study a class. i cannot stand when they keep taking loud in class and said they want to go ite. They are just pulling us down.
ya, i agree with anonymous. studying in a more quiet & peaceful environment does help the students alot. we can concentrate better & do better for our academics. Those black sheeps are really dragging all of us back.
Yeah, actually I prefer one class with better environment's. Maybe the class we can even choose? Although it's ridiculous, but I believe this will help the students lots. At least we can work in a class or by a team.
but if let the students choose who they want to work with, the chance of talking to each other in the class while teacher is talking is high and it might drop our grades down...
Altough there are some minor problems such as CCA's and so on..the school's enviroment is very conducive is very good..its quiet and peaceful in the morning but as the time goes its get noisier , BUT!in total..the skool enviroment is good;)
can we Sec.4s have study camp?? so we can study longer, interact more with our friends... *overnight... cos some of them had never overnight in school so this will be the best time for us 2 interact and bonding with our friends... i really hoped that u would reconsider my suggestions...thank u
&& when is our graduation nite?? i noe its not yet "o" levels but i'm thinking far...
&& let us have some memorable time in bmss... have some interesting courses like drama...dance...etc.etc.etc....
perhaps the teacher should give homework in alternative weeks, like week1 will have math hw, week2 have english hw, i think maybe like tis will relieve a little stress cauz now the march holiday really have alot homework which i cannot do finish!!! T.T
lol, how come become everyweek the schedule have mother tongue, and only have english and add math is alternative weeks? it doesnt seems fair. Can just cancel away the mother tongue and put sciences instead? it seems that during mother tongue, we didnt do anything special.....
i've seen the study camp timetable n it looks damn boring other than kick boxing,yoga etc.n what for the genctic disease talk?? y no overnight?? boring!! n finish school at 5.30... better sleepover right?? then art/dnt from 12.30 until 5.30? so long sit down there until so tired...sian la...
The concentrate on mother tongue as the O lvl for mother tongue is coming.After the MT O lvl.They would surely concentrate on ur sciences and maths and stuff.
can we have like a week camping in sch? morning study afternoon fun to have class bonding and motivate the sec 4 and 5 to study then at night some revision... if not, can we have a room to study in after sch? cos at home alot of distractions ( research has shown that ppl study better in air-con rooms)
i agree with raki but then some ppl will go there n make noise...zzz...so it defeats the purpose of "studying"... ohya...sec4s n 5s have lots of edusave money...dunno what to do anyway cannot take it what...so... i suggest...maybe...maybe la... if...if... after "O" levels we can go out to malaysia etc. go some survival camp/lifeskills...or luxury camp...like go genting...use edusave money la... since there is alot of edusave money but we cant take it out... might as well we finish it right?? do something memorable together... cos i feel it's like study study study... 24 hrs study...sian... if we cant have fun now, have fun later??pls...pls...pls...?? consider my suggestions...??
In regards to 'Raki-kun', Though study in air-con is better, research also says it will cut one's lifespan, and it will cost global warming! We should think of the school too! The fees for air-con room is too expensive!
Can the school make another better time table? cauz some important lesson are after lunch and after lunch i will feel sleepy and cannot absorb wad the teacher is talking...... Can put the non-examinable lesson like cep and pct after recess?
In regards to 'begging'. If i am not wrong, the edu-save money will, in the future goes into our CPF. And you have to consider those who dont have edu-save, like the foreigner and even some student who is the fourth or bla bla bla child in the family, they do not have edu-save.
Can the school like organize some games that is educational? Like today the olympic game, the students in my class play until very fun like crazy. I think it might improve our grades.
I am married with 2 daughters.I went to Balestier Mixed Primary Scool followed by Victoria School and Nanyang JC.I was an Education Instructor in the Army and went to the College of PE for my Dip in Physical Education.I have been teaching since 1989 June, First in Henderson Secondary and then in Bukit Merah Secondary School. In 1995, I left for England, Loughborough to further my studies in PE and Sports Science. I graduated in 1997 with a second upper Honours degree.
I love to interact with students and helping them become better people. People who respect themselves and also respect others.

Actually i think the most important thing is that the students themself are motivated to really study hard and block out all disractions.

Depends? If they were given a chance but they do not cherish it, do not blame the teachers for seperating them then.
